  • Introduction a new partnership between three local mentoring organizations Bolder Options, Boys & Girls Club, and our own Y Mentors... It has been proven over and over again that all youth, especially those who face significant challenges, benefit from having more than one caring adult to focus on their needs and guide them toward a successful future. By working together, our partnership maximizes limited resources and helps us reach a larger percentage of the youth who need us most. Each of our programs provides mentoring services in a unique way. Please read the program descriptions in this brochure and consider becoming mentor. We hope to see you at the Big Party Downtown on September 10th.

About The Y Mentors Program:

Y Mentors is a nonprofit, community based, program that matches youth in need of a positive adult role model with adult volunteers.

There are typically between 40 and 50 kids on the waiting list and some youth wait up to one year to become matched with a mentor. Click here to find more links about our children that are waiting, how to sign up to help one of these children, and some great resources for our mentors at the Y.

Our Y Mentors Mission Statement:

Y Mentors will provide positive mentoring relationships to help Youth discover abilities by broadening their experiences and opportunities
